MTRS the 1st and I crashed a domestic party

And we were unwanted as MTRS put it!

MTRS the 1st and Arturbo came down to chill with me last Friday. Art went back home, but MTRS stayed at my place. We went and hung out around town Friday night and came across this Dairy Queen where all these hot-rods were hanging out. So we pull in and decide to check out the cars. We parked kind of inconspicuosly at first and looked around. Then we decided to move both our cars up where they could be seen.

Mistake. As soon as we parked next to some of these so called 'hot-rods' this cowboy lookin guy comes up and says we can't park here. I just look at MTRS and we take off on outta there. Supercharger screaming. Turbo spooling, and smoke bellowing the whole way..

Then we took off to a neighboring city and hung out across the street from the Camaro/Mustang crowd. They were cooler than the older hot-rod crowd.

Thats funny, I stopped by a house in the neighborhood recently where the KC Ferrari club was having its monthly meeting. We spent more time talking about my car than all the Ferrari's that were there. The president of the club used to drive a CRX and missed the free and easy days when he could drive and not worry about what was happening to his 6-figure ride. They were cool and invited me back (even offered to find me a Ferrari ) I had always heard bad things about Ferrari guys being snobs and such, but these guys were pretty cool! Never know till you go and talk to them I guess...

Hey Vtecno, the same thing happened to me that night I raced that Ferrari. He couldn't believe how fast it was and we were talking a mile a minute about my car. I never got a word in edgewise, but I did get to look at the motor That sucks Mark, sounds like the last time I went to a grocery store on the far south of town (Ritzy high society part of town). Oh well, I guess I missed out. Had a long road trip to HOT South West Texas. It was like 112 deg. I had my AC full blast and I was sweating like a 400lbs over weight man in a sonna!!
I'll be going back as soon as I get my turbo from majestic fixed.
